Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform brazing of copper pipes and insulation of ducts for efficient operation.
- Conduct routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems, including refrigeration systems, split air conditioning units, VRV systems, and heating pumps.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and handle repairs promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and daily logs.
- Assist customers by providing solutions to inquiries and technical issues regarding HVAC systems.
- Follow safety guidelines, adhere to appliance standards, and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (HSE).
- Ensure adherence to service standards, work instructions, and meet customers’ requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communication, honesty, responsibility, collaboration and awareness is key in any task.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Hold at least an HND/OND qualification in Electrical, Electronics, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, preferably 5-8 years.
- Proficiency in working with various HVAC systems like air conditioners, refrigeration units, and heating pumps.
- Strong skills in connecting pipes, brazing copper pipes, and insulating ducts effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies in the HVAC field.
